North Carolina’s Girl Scouts can now team up with Nature Cat and pals to earn a free Nature Cat Explorer Patch. Through this program, Daisies and Brownies can complete educational nature activities that pave the path to earning a free Nature Cat patch!

With over 15 outdoor activities to choose from, Girls Scouts must complete one activity from each character section: Nature Cat, Daisy, Squeeks and Hal. Then, complete the post-activities survey to get instructions on how to receive your new patch.

Nature Cat follows Fred, a house cat who dreams of exploring the great outdoors. Once his family leaves for the day, Fred transforms into, "Nature Cat, backyard explorer extraordinaire!" Nature Cat can’t wait to get outside for a day of backyard nature excursions and bravery, but there’s one problem: he’s still a house cat with no instincts for nature!
