Welcome to the new pbsnc.org!

We’re so excited for you to check out our fully redesigned website, which features streamlined navigation, an enhanced user experience and a fresh, modern design.

In addition to better highlighting your favorite PBS programs, the new website celebrates PBS NC original shows as well as our many educational initiatives, resources and events. Additionally, it showcases our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.  

The new website is intended to connect you to info that matters most as well as share the impact of PBS North Carolina as a statewide public media network. We hope you’ll agree that the new design reflects these goals.

In today’s world of on-demand streaming, we know that you have more options than ever before. Our new website makes it easier for you to discover the best from PBS including the latest documentaries, new investigative stories from FRONTLINE and the newest Masterpiece dramas. Explore by genre or find something unexpected by browsing curated content collections from our staff such as the “Diverse Voices Collection” and “Popular on Passport.”

The Engage Section

PBS is a place for lifelong learning. In this new section of the website, follow your curiosity to discover new shows to watch and articles to read. Find info about upcoming events and staff-curated content collections featuring timely and relevant stories. We’ve also created pages on the website featuring multimedia content collections tailored to your interests. For example, if you enjoy science and nature, visit pbsnc.org/blogs/science/ to see the latest articles, videos and more from our Sci NC team.

Where is the TV schedule?

Our online TV schedule is still at pbsnc.org/schedule. It’s the first link under “Watch” in the website navigation. It functions the same as it did on the previous website but now we’ve added more content below the schedule to share upcoming events and new original series from PBS NC.

Where can I find info about your events?

Learn about upcoming virtual and in-person events hosted by the PBS North Carolina team at pbsnc.org/events. On this page, you’ll also find recorded panel discussions from previous events.

Where can I read CenterPiece online?

You can still find issues of our programming guide CenterPiece at pbsnc.org/watch/centerpiece.

Where can I learn about ways to support PBS North Carolina?

Learn how to become a member or donate to PBS North Carolina by visiting pbsnc.org/support. Explore all the ways to give, from joining our 40k sustaining members to planned giving. Also, explore info about corporate support and grant funding.

How can I watch your shows?

As your statewide PBS network, PBS North Carolina brings you the best of PBS through our four broadcast channels, the PBS Video App and our website, pbsnc.org. All our locally produced programs—such as NC Weekend, Sci NC, Front Row, ncIMPACT and Black Issues Forum—are available for on-demand streaming anytime with the PBS Video App or at video.pbsnc.org.
