PBS NC will offer live uninterrupted coverage of the coronation from BBC on Saturday, 5/6, 2:30-10 AM. The BBC special The Coronation: A Day to Remember will air Saturday evening at 6:30 PM on PBS NC and the PBS App.
Sunday
Three special programs to mark the coronation event will air on PBS NC on Sunday afternoon.
At 1 PM, Charles R: The Making of a Monarch explores the past 74 years that Charles has been a king in the making, showcasing his life as captured on film, home movies and TV cameras. At 2 PM, the documentary Sing for the King tells the story of the formation of the national choir that will perform on the grounds of Windsor Castle the day following the coronation.
At 3 PM, The Coronation Concert is a live broadcast from Windsor Castle, showcasing the country's diverse cultural heritage in music, theatre and dance, bringing music icons and contemporary stars together for this historic occasion.
