Classroom 4 Tour: Preschool Classroom, Ages 4 to 5

The preschool room for older preschoolers, ages 4 to 5, is a vibrant space designed to enhance curiosity, creativity, and independence. The room features distinct centers, including a dramatic play area for role-playing, a science station for hands-on discovery, a process art area for creative expression, a literacy zone for reading and storytelling, and a construction area for building and problem-solving. The layout supports free movement between areas, ensuring a blend of structured and independent activities, focusing on safety through child-friendly furniture and clear supervision. Daily schedules balance group activities with individual exploration, and mealtimes encourage healthy habits and self-help skills. Dedicated staff provide personalized support, fostering essential skills and maintaining open communication with families to enhance each child's development. This preschool room has a 5-star rating from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
